The Batman Logo assignment called us to touch up on our logo designing for a famous superhero icon. "You may go for a completely new look, or just tweak it a bit, its up to you." So here I went with adding the initials "B" and "M" into a highly recognizable image. Here are my two most final forms from my sketches. I went with two influences here; one from the old 60's Batman Television series featuring Adam West, and the other being the most famous batman icon as seen from movies like Tim Burton. I had some other ideas that used a head profile with it's signature pointy ears and some that overlayed the letters B and M. In the end I went with the classic and 60's television icons.
